our choirs

Center Hill Middle School Choirs began in 2009 with one choir of 35 students.  Quickly, it grew to three choirs of over 120 students in just three years.  CHMS added a fourth choir in 2016 to better accommodate our male singers and added a fifth choir in 2018 to allow our youngest male singers to perform in their own choir.

Each choir performs three or more concerts a year.  Students at every level consistently audition and qualify for the Mississippi All-State Honor Choirs.  Our advanced girls choir, the Elite Choir, was also awarded the Bluff City Choral Festival's Grand Champion award in 2019.  CHMS collaborates with both feeder schools and Center Hill High School to ensure that students are successful at every level.
